The company has experience in underground, surface and backfill operations for the mining sector with specialised capabilities for providing support services and civil services within mine sites both below and above ground.
Referred to by his brother, Doug Eatts General Manager at Civil Mining appointed Manos Partners to access the viability of the new business venture and prepare profit and loss forecasts to raise capital for the purchase of machinery and equipment.
Since then, the company has experienced great growth and now employs over the forty staff. Its fleet now includes ten heavy trucks, three graders, four road profilers, heavy trailers, eight excavators, road sweepers, light trucks, skid steers and fuel trucks. Vicki said that Peter has been an “incredible asset to the business” who has helped the company manage growth and control costs by restructuring the company to reduce taxation and establishing reports that provide the management team with visibility into financial performance.
Vicki said that both Doug and her have great respect for Peter as a businessman and that they “don’t make any important decisions without consulting him first.”
“Peter and I think the same. He is very supportive both personally and in business, and is always available. He has a great work ethic. I really admire his approach,” Vicki said.
“He remembers every single detail we talk about…for example, he recently he reminded us that some purchases we made and could claim were missing from our BAS.”
Vicki said that working with Manos Partners inspires confidence in the company’s future, “Peter is a big part of our future. We trust him to guide us in the right direction.”
